CPS Thinking Skills

 

We believe that every individual is creative in its own way. A powerful method to bring out and apply your creativity in everyday activities is the Creative Problem Solving Process (CPS) and Creative Thinking Skills that are used during the process.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Become familiar with the structure of the Thinking Skills and Creative Problem Solving Process
  • Assess individual areas of strength as well as those that need further development within this structure
  • Apply CPS Thinking Skills to overcome individual or groupchallenges
  • Develop behaviors and attitudes that can deliberately boost creativity and innovation

 

Arts & the Creative Process

The arts are an excellent vehicle for creativity. This program explores how music, theater, poetry, painting, movement and other forms of art can be used to see problems from a new point of view and then direct it through the arts as an effective tool in the creative process. You will learn how to use various forms of arts as techniques to facilitate a group (or yourself!) Through the Creative Process.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Discover how artistic expression can be integrated with the creative process
  • Learn how to develop new tools and techniques based on the arts to facilitate a group
  • Experiment with various forms of art and learn how to connect them with the creative process 

 

Develop your facilitation skills

 

Facilitation is becoming more and more rapidly a key competence for all leaders who want to make more efficient and productive teamwork. This program focuses on the principles and practices that are the foundation of a competent facility and helps people to create the foundations of group dynamics when team members truly collaborate, create innovative solutions and take the right decisions. The use of the structure of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Thinking Skills allows participants to improve their skills and their practice of facilitation at all stages of the CPS model, the evaluation of the task assignedand how to 'broadcast' the work session, to the phases of follow-up that will complement the process.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • To improve their facilitation skills through feedback from experts in the field of skills and practical facilitation
  • Develop their skills, facing different challenges and opportunities of facilitation during the program
  • Discover and develop personal style, identifying areas of strength and those needing to be improved

 

Tools & Techniques for CPS Thinking Skills

 

To stimulate creativity in the process of creative problem solving various tools and techniques. The tools are useful for generating ideas truly unique and innovative, and also give a clear and systematic way of choosing the best ideas to ensure maximum impact. This program provides participants with a variety of tools that can be applied to different stages of the creative process and the structure of CPS Thinking Skills. Every step of the model is linked to a thinking skill that can be honed and developed through the application of specific thinking tools. The tools taught are taken from other fields such as strategic management, problem solving and decision making, and total quality management.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Develop confidence in the application of a variety of tools in the model of CPS Thinking Skills
  • Expand creative thinking and learning by applying a different set of creative tools, problem solving, decision making
  • Learn how to assess needs and plan sessions within the structure of CPS Thinking Skills, using different tools
